First Aid Kit For Fur People
Emergencies can occur at any time for both cat and dog Fur People. The best thing to do is to be prepared. A prepared first aid kit helps to reduce anxiety if an emergency does happen.Keep the kit available and periodically check to assure all items are updated and present. Any small box works well to hold all the necessary equipment. Write your name, address, and phone number on the outside of the box in case you lose it. Include the phone number of your veterinarian as well as that of a local veterinary emergency facility. Discuss your Fur people before leaving them with someone. Make sure that person knows what you consider an emergency and how to contact you. Leave the phone number of a secondary person you trust to make decisions in your behalf if you are unavavilable. You may want to consider leaving a means of payment for any unplanned expenses relating to your Fur Person's health. Once the emergency information is complete have a separate informational sheet for each Fur Person. Include a photo of each Fur person with name, age, breed, sex, identification information. This is helpful if your Fur persons lost or if someone is unfamiliar with your Fur Person. |
